Personal Data We Collect

Newsletter Sign-Up

When you join the newslet­ter, you give us your email address. The sign-up form sends it to our research inbox together with the time of the request. We use it only to send you the HUMBLE BULLS newslet­ter and mes­sages directly related to it.

Emails You Send Us

If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if you include it) and the content of your message. We use this only to reply and to keep a record of the con­ver­sa­tion.

Technical Data

Like any website, our hosting provider auto­mat­i­cally records basic tech­ni­cal data when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix prob­lems. The sign-up form also briefly stores a one-way code derived from your IP address to stop repeated auto­mated sub­mis­sions.

Fonts Loaded From Google

The site loads its type­faces from Google Fonts. Your browser there­fore con­nects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. Google's own privacy policy applies to that data.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
• We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If we add any, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated before they are switched on.
• We do not collect payment details on this website.

Why We Are Allowed to Use Your Data

We send the newslet­ter because you asked for it (your consent), and you can with­draw that consent at any time. We reply to emails and keep the site secure because we have a legit­i­mate inter­est in running the website prop­erly and answer­ing the people who contact us.

How Long We Keep It

Newslet­ter email addresses are kept until you unsub­scribe or ask us to delete them. Email con­ver­sa­tions are kept for as long as needed to answer you and for a rea­son­able period after­wards for our records. Tech­ni­cal server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own reten­tion rules.

Who Else Handles Your Data

We use trusted service providers to run the site and our email: our website host (which also pro­cesses the newslet­ter form) and our email provider. If we later use a ded­i­cated newslet­ter service, your email address will be stored with that provider so it can send the newslet­ter for us, and we will name it here. We may also dis­close data if the law requires it.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the per­sonal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can unsub­scribe from the newslet­ter by reply­ing to any issue or by email­ing research@hum­ble­bulls.com. Depend­ing on where you live, you may also have the right to com­plain to your local data pro­tec­tion author­ity.

Chil­dren

HUMBLE BULLS is written for adults. We do not know­ingly collect per­sonal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle per­sonal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Sig­nif­i­cant changes will also be men­tioned in the newslet­ter. See also the cookie policy and the terms of use.
